Punch, the magazine of humour and satire, ran from 1841 until 2002. It was a truly British institution with an international reputation for its witty and irreverent take on the world. It showcased some of the world’s greatest comic writers and finest cartoonists, and gave us the idea of the cartoon as we know it today.
